Calculation and simulation
Knowing how the machine behaves before building it.
What it's about
Simulation is there to support decisions, not to make pretty coloured pictures. Every analysis starts from a precise question — will it carry this load, how long will it last, at what frequency does it resonate — and ends with a number and a margin.
We prepare the model by simplifying the geometry where it doesn't matter and refining the mesh where the gradient counts, we check convergence and compare the result with an analytical check calculation. If the two don't agree, the model is wrong.
What it includes
How we work
- Defining the questionWhat we want to know and by what criterion we decide it's acceptable: reference standard, required factor, expected life.
- Model and assumptionsGeometry simplification, choice of elements, realistic constraints and loads. The assumptions are written down, not implied.
- Solution and convergenceSolution, mesh refinement until the result converges and comparison with an independent analytical check.
- Calculation reportA document with assumptions, model, results, margins and — if needed — the proposed changes to the geometry.

FAQ
Do you need the 3D model to run the analysis?
It helps but isn't mandatory. If you only have drawings or sketches, we build the calculation geometry ourselves: it's often a simplified version of the production model anyway.
Is the report valid for a regulatory procedure?
The report sets out assumptions, method and results in a traceable form, suitable for inclusion in a technical file. The signature of a licensed professional, when required, must be agreed separately.
How long does a verification take?
A static verification of a single component is typically completed in a few days. Fatigue, thermal transients and CFD take longer: the time is estimated in the quote.
How we work together
This service is activated with one of the three collaboration options: a closed per-project job, a monthly bank of hours as an external technical office, or a one-off job with a narrow scope. The option is chosen together at the offer stage, depending on how well defined the work is.

We start from what you already have
A drawing, a photo, a specification or even just the problem described in words: that's enough for a first concrete answer.
