What it's about

We design special-purpose machines, line equipment, steelwork and sheet-metal components for machine builders and manufacturers. We work as an external technical office: we take the job from the initial requirement and hand it over ready for production.

The 3D model isn't the result: it's the tool. The result is functionally dimensioned drawings, correct bills of materials and commercial components that really exist in catalogues, with verified lead times.

What it includes

Parametric 3D modellingParts and assemblies built with a readable, editable feature tree, not a monolithic block to redo for every variant.
Special-purpose machines and fixturesBenches, presses, workstations, welding jigs and test fixtures to customer specification.
Steelwork and welded structuresFrames in sections and sheet metal, with cutting lists, weld preparations and welding sequences to limit distortion.
Sheet metal and flat patternsFlat patterns with a K-factor calibrated on the supplier's press brake, minimum radii, cut-outs and nesting.
Detail drawingsViews, sections, functional dimensioning, dimensional and geometric tolerances, roughness, treatments and inspection notes.
Bills of materials and revisionsMulti-level structured BOM, consistent part numbering, management of revisions and change indices.
Reverse engineeringRebuilding the 3D model from direct measurement or scanning, for out-of-production spare parts and retrofits.
Design for manufacturingReviewing the geometry to reduce machining, set-ups and scrap while keeping the same function.

How we work

  1. Requirements and constraintsWhat the machine must do, in what cycle, within which envelope and interfaces. This produces a written specification that we share with you.
  2. Layout and conceptOne or more schematic layouts with overall dimensions and the main commercial components, to choose the approach before modelling.
  3. Modelling and verificationComplete 3D assembly, interference and travel checks, sizing of critical components and verification of catalogue components.
  4. Manufacturing drawings and deliveryAssembly and detail drawings, bill of materials, exchange files and support to the workshop during construction.

FAQ

Do you also do just the detail drawings?

Yes. If you already have the 3D model and only need the manufacturing documentation, we take on that part: views, dimensioning, tolerances and bill of materials.

In what format do you deliver the files?

The native format of the CAD system we work with, plus neutral STEP and IGES, drawings in PDF and DWG. If your technical office uses another system, we agree the format before starting.

Do you also follow construction in the workshop?

Yes, support during fabrication is included: clarifications on the drawings, handling of changes that arise on the shop floor and updating of revisions.

How we work together

This service is activated with one of the three collaboration options: a closed per-project job, a monthly bank of hours as an external technical office, or a one-off job with a narrow scope. The option is chosen together at the offer stage, depending on how well defined the work is.
