Description

Machines that handle bulk products intended for food have constraints that do not show in the drawing but decide the design: contact surfaces in stainless steel, fillet radii and slopes that allow washing, no stagnation points or crevices, and dusts that in some cases make the classification of the area necessary. The service covers the complete mechanical design, up to the production drawings. The scope is a compact machine with up to 6 sub-assemblies and 40 manufacturing drawings.

What it includes

  • Analysis of the process requirements and study of the design alternatives
  • Design of the working unit and of the product handling members
  • Selection of gearmotors, transmissions and supports
  • Hygienic design of the contact surfaces to EN 1672-2 and EN ISO 14159
  • Choice of materials and seals suitable for food contact
  • 3D modelling of machine, sub-assemblies and parts
  • Manufacturing drawings of all parts and assembly drawings for erection
  • Bill of materials with commercial codes and materials
  • Preliminary risk analysis to EN ISO 12100
  • One revision cycle after the client's review
